UCLA Athletics director Dan Guerrero revealed every floor routine done in Pauley Pavilion will be performed on the Valorie Kondos Field Floor.

Utah State coach Amy Smith was a former UCLA gymnastics athlete. She was coached under Kondos Field and helped lead the Bruins to their first NCAA championship in 1997. Smith and her team participated in the flash mob, dancing across the floor.
