The No. 11 Bruins (9-0) shocked No. 1 Kentucky (7-1) for the second straight year, this time in Rupp Arena, to win 97-92 behind balanced play from their starters and bench players.

Last year, the five-star recruit from Centennial High School had just watched UCLA upset then-No. 1 Kentucky in front of a packed Pauley Pavilion before the student section stormed the court.

Sandwiched in between winning the Wooden Legacy championship and a date with No. 1 Kentucky, No. 11 UCLA men’s basketball (8-0) still had to take care of business at home.
The next test for undefeated UCLA will be to avoid the classic trap game.
The men’s basketball team just played three games in four days to win the Wooden Legacy championship this past Sunday.
