The UCLA men’s basketball team announced Tuesday that
point guard Jordan Farmar will not be playing in this Friday
night’s game against Canada’s Carleton University.
Farmar, who has been held out of practice for five days, was
re-evaluated Tuesday. Although he has shown significant
improvement, he will not practice or play the rest of the week.
“Obviously the rash of injuries has been frustrating for
the players involved and our team (as a whole),” coach Ben
Howland said. “But, as I’ve said before, if we had to
