A legendary class.
Three Bruins shattered records with professional berths earlier this month.
But before setting their sights on the future, they have a final chance to represent the four letters on their home field.
No. 6 UCLA softball (44-5, 19-2 Big Ten) hosts No. 15 Oregon (38-10, 18-3) for its final series of the regular season, spanning from Friday to Sunday.
Seniors infielder Jordan Woolery, pitcher Taylor Tinsley and utility Megan Grant will all be recognized for their UCLA careers during the Sunday game, which could mark the last time the trio plays at Easton Stadium.
However, the conclusion of the 2026 campaign will not mark the end of their respective softball careers, as all three received Golden Tickets to the Athletes Unlimited Softball League – the most tickets awarded to a single team in league history.
“I’m just looking forward to another last weekend at home with my girls and with my family, that’s all going to be there,” Tinsley said. “I’m really excited to get after it for another weekend, take it for what it is.”

While the focus of the weekend is commemorating UCLA’s seniors, the outcome will still have conference ramifications.
The Bruins and the Ducks are ranked second and third in the Big Ten, respectively. A single loss separates the teams, so the series’ outcome could cause movement in the standings during a critical time – right before Big Ten tournament seeding is solidified.
UCLA is the last team in the Big Ten still undefeated at home. They are also the only team undefeated at home in the nation’s top 50 teams, an unusual feat.
The Westwood squad swept then-No. 22 Washington last weekend for its first ranked sweep this season.
“It’s great to be able to keep going with the momentum that we’ve been building up, and to take this going into our next home series and finish out strong the rest of the regular season,” said freshman utility Jolyna Lamar.
A large part of that momentum comes from the squad’s veterans.
Woolery boasts a .510 batting average with 31 home runs so far this season. She also leads the team in hits, runs batted in and total bases, with 76, 102 and 185, respectively.
The other half of the “Bruin Bomber” pair, Grant, has shattered records all season. She has the most home runs on the team at 34 and has drawn 58 walks – the most on the squad.
And who could forget about the Bruin out in the circle?
Tinsley, who has recorded 133 strikeouts this season, including a season-high eight punch outs April 24 against Washington, was the third Bruin to receive a golden ticket. She has held opposing teams to a .235 batting average across 153.2 innings pitched.

However, the underclassmen are ready to step up to the plate with the triple threat graduating.
“Bri (freshman infielder Bri Alejandre) has been pretty hot all year,” coach Kelly Inouye-Perez said. “She had a moment there where she wasn’t getting the outcome. But credit to her because she took a little dip, and she’s right back in the thick of it with a smile, some swag, coming up with some big hits and quality at-bats … very similar to how Megan and Jordan were in their freshman year.”
Alejandre was listed on the NFCA National Freshman of the Year Top 25 list alongside teammate redshirt freshman infielder Aleena Garcia. Alejandre leads the team in doubles with 13, and Garcia boasts a team-high 89 fielding assists.
And all the underclassmen have benefited from the leadership and example of the graduating class.
“I’ve got three of the most impactful seniors that have definitely left their name in the record books and their mark on this program,” Inouye-Perez said. “They’re great leaders, they’re great players, they’re great Bruins. This team is on a mission to continue to play consistent softball, but we’re definitely going to take a moment to celebrate the seniors next weekend.”
