It has been months since AFSCME Local 3299 last bargained with the UC, said Jacob Creer, a member of AFSCME Local 3299’s executive board and bargaining team. Creer added that the union submitted a counterproposal and the UC refused to respond.

“(The UC is) not respecting us, not responding to us, refusing to actually just come back to the table so we can hash everything out and get these members the contracts we deserve,” Creer said.
