Hundreds of demonstrators with AFSCME Local 3299 – which represents dining hall employees, along with other workers – marched directly past the windows of De Neve Residential Restaurant at 10:25 a.m. The dining hall is operating with modified service, adopting a to-go model during the strike.

The union members blew horns and chanted “Union power.” They then marched past Bruin Plate, a dining hall on the Hill that is closed for the duration of the strike, according to the UCLA Dining website.
