Redirecting back to tonight’s main event. Coach Cori Close’s starting point guard, and the team’s voice on the floor Kiki Rice, has been visualizing this very day for a year.
After LSU eliminated UCLA’s Tournament run in the Sweet 16 last season, Kiki Rice wrote “We will go to a Final Four” in her journal every single day leading up to last Sunday’s Elite Eight, which happened to be a rematch against LSU.
Rice made her biggest and brightest dreams reality.
But she’s still two wins away from a dream few get to call reality.
