A big Bruin backing

By Ira Gorawara

April 4, 2025 4:56 p.m.

Back home, cheerleaders are spread all across the UCLA campus as Westwood prepares to cheer on the women to their first Final Four in the NCAA era.

In fact, UCLA football coach DeShaun Foster and director of UCLA track and field and cross country Joanna Hayes joined in on Tuesday’s sendoff as the team headed to the airport to fly out to Tampa, Florida.

And tonight, UCLA Athletics is hosting a watch party at Pauley Pavilion for students to unite their Bruin spirit and “pack Pauley” – in a slightly different way.

Meanwhile, Texas and South Carolina are tied at 33 with 1:40 to play in the second quarter. We’ve got a nip-and-tuck one at our hands, but what else can you expect in March?
