The three residential dining halls open during the strike closed for the dining period as of 8 p.m. Students were not immediately asked to leave. The dinner food trucks began departing from the Rieber turnaround at 8:36 p.m. Lines for the extended dinner food trucks – which open later in the evening – also began forming around then.
