Union workers outside the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center chanted “Who runs UC? We run UC,” and “When we fight, we win.” A speaker outside the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center said SAG-AFTRA union members – who are not striking at the UC – are also attending picketing in solidarity. A UPTE-CWE 9119 member at the rally also said the union plans to continue protesting until they get their demands.

“We will not put up with UC’s lies and intimidation. We know our power. We know our strength. That is why we are out here today,” said an AFSCME spokesperson outside the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
