Administrative Vice Chancellor Michael Beck outlined the employee benefits and housing opportunities for employees impacted by the fire in a campus-wide town hall meeting Thursday. The university is offering housing for people who have lost their homes in addition to paid administrative leave, catastrophic leave and legal services, he said.

“There’s short-term housing available at the (Meyer and Renee) Luskin Conference Center at UCLA and Lake Arrowhead Lodge,” Beck said. “We’ve also identified temporary housing for any vacant units within our faculty and staff apartments and making the UCLA South Bay campus apartments available for individuals that have been displaced by the loss of their home.”
