While the nearest mandatory evacuation zone is about 1.3 miles from UCLA, an evacuation warning zone continues to border campus as of 7 p.m. Tuesday, according to Cal Fire. The warning adjacent to campus is due to the Palisades fire, which has burned over 23,000 acres. There is no evacuation warning or order for the UCLA campus as of 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to Cal Fire.
According to the UCLA’s air quality website, the air quality on campus is rated as “good,” just as it has been all day.
