UCLA Student Legal Services is assisting students who have been impacted by fires, including reviewing insurance claims, replacing lost documents, resolving tenancy disputes and helping with benefit applications, said Caroline Gibbons, an assistant Human Resources manager at ASUCLA, in an email to student employees. The attorneys will be open beyond regular hours, she said.

The university is also hosting community lunches and games evenings for students still in Westwood, both on the Hill and at university apartments, Gibbons said in the email. One does not need to be a UCLA Housing resident to attend the events, she said.

Although there are no evacuation warnings or orders covering the UCLA campus as of 4:35 p.m. Tuesday, classes remain remote until at least Friday.
