The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has issued a Windblown Dust and Ash Advisory, which will remain in place until 7 p.m. Wednesday, according to a Tuesday press release. People are advised to wear facemarks, stay inside, use air purifiers and protect their eyes, according to the press release.

“Strong winds are expected to continue dispersing ash and dust from burn scars in the Palisades, Eaton and other impacted areas,” the department said in the press release. “Air quality may reach levels that are ‘Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups’ or worse in some regions.”

The air quality at UCLA is currently rated as “good” and has been for over 48 hours, according to the UCLA air quality website. As of 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, there are no evacuation warnings or orders in place for the UCLA campus.
