Administrative Vice Chancellor Michael Beck said the university has received housing requests from 67 faculty and staff who have lost their homes and has placed 10 individuals in university housing so far. UCLA Health is also working with a number of benefactors in the community who are matching affected faculty and staff to housing needs, CEO of UCLA Health John Mazziotta said.
The university is offering paid emergency administrative leave to faculty who cannot work, said Director of Employee and Labor Relations Anthony Solana Jr.
