Three fires continue to burn across Los Angeles County.
The 23,713 acre Palisades fire, which is closest to UCLA, has been burning since Tuesday and is 14% contained, according to the Cal Fire website.
Classes at UCLA will be remote until at least January 17, Chancellor Julio Frenk said in a Saturday campus wide email. The air quality at UCLA has been rated as “good” for at least 24 hours, according to the UCLA air quality website.

Although an evacuation warning relating to the fire continues to border UCLA, there are no evacuation warnings or notices in place for the campus as of 10 a.m. Monday.
A 14,117 acre fire, which started in Pasadena and Altadena, is 33% contained and is being managed by a combination of the LA County Fire Department, the Pasadena Fire Department and the United States Forest Service.
A third fire, which began in Sylmar, is 799 acres and 95% contained, according to the Cal Fire website.
