As the evacuation zones get increasingly close to campus, many of the students who remain on the Hill are leaving. Ash is falling from the sky, leaving a thick coating on car hoods and walkways. As of 8:46 p.m., there are no evacuation warnings or notices for the UCLA campus, according to the Cal Fire website. However, some areas adjacent to the campus are under evacuation warning, and people in areas less than a mile away have been ordered to evacuate.
