As of 7:51 a.m. Friday, the Westwood Recreation Center hosted 164 registered guests and 13 pets as a designated shelter for LA County. LA County is hosting family assistance centers to help people locate missing friends and families at the Cheviot Hills Recreation Center and Pasadena Convention Center and Visitor’s Bureau. Additionally, the Red Cross encouraged people to use resources on their website to locate any loved ones that are missing.
