A number of telecommunications companies have been offering enhanced services in response to the fires.

Verizon will be offering unlimited call, text and data to individuals on prepaid and postpaid plans in areas impacted by wildfires, according to a company press release. The carrier has also located free Wi-Fi and charging stations at Westwood Recreation Center, El Camino Real Charter High School and Oxnard College for evacuee use.

T-Mobile is offering unlimited call, text and data to customers who do not have these services as part of their plans in Altadena, La Cañada Flintridge, Los Angeles, Palisades, Pasadena and Sierra Madre from Jan. 8 through Jan. 15, according to a company press release.

AT&T is also offering unlimited call, text and data to customers in around 150 affected zip codes from Jan. 8 through Feb. 6, per a company press release.
