LA Department of Water and Power CEO and Chief Engineer Janisse Quiñones said at the press conference that her department is working to restart power connections as quickly and safely as possible. She added that the department is prioritizing wires that have fallen down, and people seeing fallen wires should call emergency services.
“As of this morning, we have approximately 95,000 customers out,” Quiñones said at the conference. “Our restoration times are ranging from 24 to 48 hours.”
