Airbnb is partnering with 211 LA – a nonprofit organization – to offer free, temporary housing to individuals impacted by fires from Altadena, Malibu, the Pacific Palisades, Pasadena, Santa Monica and Sylmar, according to a post on the company’s newsroom website. Residents in need of shelter can submit a request on the 211 LA website, with funding coming from Airbnb, donations and people offering their homes up.

The Westwood Recreation Center is also operating overnight as an evacuation center and shelter.
