Redshirt junior Carson Schwesinger – a former walk-on in his first year as a starter – leads the Big Ten in solo and total tackles with 69 and 109, respectively.
The linebacker will be going up against USC running back Woody Marks, who is fourth in the Big Ten with 1024 rushing yards and 5.9 yards per rush.
Schwesinger has recorded double-digit tackles in seven of his last eight games and is a Burlsworth Trophy Semifinalist.
Schwesinger and Marks may both have a noticeable impact – or lack thereof – in tonight’s game.
