No one’s fighting over literal land tonight, but we do have a Battle for Los Angeles on the docket.
The contest we’re being treated to tonight transcends that of any other college football rivalry. It’s a chance to prove who “runs this town,” citing coach DeShaun Foster.
Earlier this week, Daily Bruin Sports editor Ira Gorawara and reporter Matthew Niiya examined the identity of both UCLA football and USC – the teams’ respective quarterback situations, coaching, recruiting efforts and implications of tonight’s game.
