Around 11:30 a.m., AFSCME Local 3299 workers returned to Bruin Plaza. A speaker using a megaphone called for striking workers to “fight back” against what they alleged are illegal actions by the University. The speaker said the union would pause for lunch and continue protests at 12:30 p.m.
