The Undergraduate Students Association Council unanimously approved a letter Tuesday night in support of the AFSCME Local 3299 strike. The letter, addressed to members of the UC Board of Regents – including UC President Michael Drake and Student Regent Josiah Beharry – alleges the University has not bargained in good faith with the union and is able to meet striking workers’ demands but has chosen not to.
