We’re nearing halftime at the Rose Bowl, and the scoreboard’s still deadlocked at 10.
Exactly two minutes left on the clock and the Bruins and Hawkeyes are headed to their respective sidelines for a two-minute timeout on the field.
Linebacker Oluwafemi Oladejo trips up quarterback Brendan Sullivan with a shoestring tackle ahead of the timeout and defensive coordinator Ikaika Malloe will be pleased with the Bruin defensive standout’s performance in this affair – Oladejo’s racked up three total tackles, on sack and two tackles for loss so far.
UCLA is leading Iowa with 87 more total yards and 116 more rushing. This Bruin team has really stepped things up in the second quarter.
