You might be wondering what the stakes are tonight, beside, of course, showing out for students and parents.
One: chance for UCLA to snag its first win at home this season – which would also mark Foster’s first home victory as head coach of his alma mater. Any tears falling?
Two: A win would push the Bruins toward the middle of the Big Ten – up from their current 13th place standing – and with that, keep their bowl ambitions alive. Rewind just three weeks ago, the only relevance bowls had to the Bruins were where they’d despondently eat cereal Sunday morning after a blowout.
