DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES – As Trump’s speech ends, the Continental Club watch party is clearing out, with only a few committed partygoers still watching CNN’s analysis. Erik Juharyan, who claimed a seat as soon as the doors opened at 5 p.m., is among those heading for the door. He said the result feels conclusive, so there was no point in staying longer.

“Based on the numbers purely, I think, yeah, it does feel pretty over,” Juharyan said. “No matter who wins, I hope the American people can win for the next four years.”
