DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES – The crowd is visibly thinning at the Continental Club, and the cheers for Vice President Kamala Harris have grown quieter as Trump’s projected lead grows.
Jimmy Royse of Los Angeles is sipping drinks with his friends, in his case, a poorly mixed glass of Tito’s vodka and Sprite, he said. The atmosphere is becoming calmer and more laid back, he said, attributing the change to anxiety.
“It’s gonna be a very drastic change, depending whoever wins,” Royse said.
