Los Angeles voters passed Measure DD by a margin of 77.0%, according to the LA Times. Measure DD will create an Independent Redistricting Commission that will draw district maps for the county. Half of its 16 members will be randomly selected by the city clerk, and the chosen will select the remaining members from the applicant pool. Maps will be drawn every 10 years, and any resident over 18 can apply to be a member.
