Former President Donald Trump has won North Carolina and its 16 electoral votes, the Associated Press has projected.

Trump leads Vice President Kamala Harris with 50.8% of the vote in the state to Harris’ 48.1% with an estimated 89% of precincts reporting, according to AP.
