Abbygail Perez, a research administrator at UCLA, said the changing political beliefs of her community and family were a key reason she voted today. Coverage of the election on ABC has focused heavily on Latino voter turnout.

“Trump was my biggest concern in the way that the Latino vote has steered,” Perez said. “The way I’ve seen my family steer that way – it was a little alarming.”

Perez also said she did a significant amount of research before voting, including on ballot measures.
