MICHIGAN – Candace Edwards, 72, a retiree from Garden City, New York, said she’s never missed voting in a presidential election since she’s been eligible and encouraged others to follow in her footsteps.

“Everyone who can vote should vote,” said Edwards, who has voted for both Republicans and Democrats in the past. “I’m hoping that people learn that if it’s not the way they want it, they better get out there and vote.”
