UCPD is searching for suspects in a drug-related off campus aggravated assault.
Two victims reported separate incidents of being drugged with an unknown substance at parties on Gayley Avenue – where many UCLA fraternities are housed – last week, according to a crime alert sent by UCPD on Monday afternoon.
The first victim attended three parties along Gayley Avenue on Thursday, where they experienced symptoms which they did not attribute to alcohol, according to the alert. The second victim attended a party on the 600 block of Gayley Avenue on Saturday where they were given a drink and experienced symptoms they did not attribute to alcohol or marijuana.
No suspect description was given in the alert.
The victims were both UCLA students, with the second victim receiving medical treatment at the emergency room, according to the alert.
No vehicles were reported in the alert.
This case is currently under investigation. Anyone with information can call UCPD at 310-825-1491.
