UCPD searches for suspect involved in off-campus sexual assault

UCPD is searching for a suspect reportedly involved in an off-campus sexual assault Thursday night.

The incident took place at a party held on the 600 block of Gayley Avenue around 11:30 p.m., according to a UCPD crime alert sent Friday afternoon.

The suspect reportedly sexually assaulted the victim, potentially through the use of unknown drugs.

The UCPD crime alert described the suspect as a man, possibly with brown hair.

The victim is not affiliated with UCLA, according to the alert.

No injuries or vehicles were reported as related to the incident. 

This case is currently under investigation. Anyone with information can call UCPD at 310-825-1491.
