Magnitude 4.3 earthquake hits Los Angeles County about 13 miles south of downtown LA

A 4.3 magnitude earthquake hit Los Angeles County on Friday evening.

The earthquake was felt in Westwood but originated in Carson, California, at 7:58 p.m – approximately 13 miles south of downtown LA, according to the United States Geological Survey.
