UCLA Burmese Students’ Perspectives on the Military Coup in Myanmar

Life in Myanmar changed on Feb. 1, after a military coup followed the results of the nation’s election. From the detention of the nation’s democratic leader Aung San Suu Kyi to temporary shutdowns of internet access, Burmese students in the U.S. and abroad shared their concerns for the safety and future of their country.
