UCPD investigates report of sexual battery incident on Levering Avenue

University police arrested a 43-year-old man at UCLA Weyburn Terrace Apartments on Nov. 23 after he was found removing packages from two mailrooms.

University police are investigating an off-campus incident of sexual battery Wednesday.

A male suspect allegedly approached a female student and grabbed her breasts around 1:45 p.m. on Levering Avenue, according to a UCPD crime alert Wednesday. The suspect, who had been riding a bike, was around 6 feet tall and was wearing a royal blue hoodie and black pants, according to the alert.

The victim reported the incident to UCPD at 2:24 p.m.

The incident is still under investigation.
