Fifteen-year-old Jayden Bartels opens for Echosmith at The Fonda Theatre on Thursday. Bartels performed two original songs and a cover of Lizzo’s hit song ‘’Truth Hurts.’’
LA-based rock group Weathers performs as the second opening act of the night. The band’s punk rock flair showed itself through lead singer Cameron Boyer’s dramatic dance moves on stage.
Weathers bassist Brennen Bates sings the backup vocals to ‘’I’m Not Ok,’’ the first song on its 2018 debut album “Kids in The Night.”
Echosmith opens the final show of its “The Lonely Generation Tour” with the song ‘’Love You Better.’’ After releasing its second full-length album and its first since 2013, Echosmith visited 13 different states in less than a month.
Echosmith’s lead guitarist Jacob Evergreen performs alongside lead singer Sydney Sierota. After Sierota’s oldest brother Jamie Sierota formally left the band in 2016, Evergreen has been performing with the group on tour.
Sydney plays the guitar during ‘’Last Forever,’’ the sixth song off the band’s latest album.
Lead bassist and Sydney’s older brother Noah Sierota holds his pick in the air during a pause in the set.
Noah interacts with the crowd during the group’s performance of ‘’Bright.’’ The band emphasized the importance of family as a source of strength throughout the show.
Wearing matching jumpsuits and dancing around in confetti, siblings Noah and Sydney have fun while performing ‘’Diamonds.’’
Sydney smiles at the crowd at the start of the set list. Thankful to be finishing the tour in their hometown of Los Angeles, she shared how grateful Echosmith is for the continuous love and support shown by its fans over the years.
Sydney dances around confetti-filled balloons while her bandmates play the chords to their opening number ‘’Love You Better.’’ Echosmith consists of siblings Noah, Sydney and Graham Sierota on bass, vocals and drums, respectively, and touring member guitarist Evergreen.
Evergreen performs a guitar solo in front of a packed crowd at The Fonda Theatre.
Finishing off the show with its most popular song, ‘’Cool Kids,’’ Echosmith brings its opening artists back onstage along with more confetti.
