UCPD on lookout for alleged burglar at Kelton Avenue apartment

University police are searching for a man who allegedly burglarized a UCLA student’s off-campus apartment Sunday.

The man entered an apartment on the 600 block of Kelton Avenue through an unlocked door while the resident was sleeping, according to the alert. He then left the apartment after being confronted by the resident. No property was reported missing.

UCPD described the man as about 140 pounds and 5 feet 7 inches tall, with short black hair. According to the alert, the suspect is “possibly Asian or Indian.”

UCPD advises students to report suspicious activities to the police and lock all windows, doors and gates.
