Students gathered into Pauley Pavilion on Friday night for UCLA's annual Spring Sing event, put on by the UCLA Alumni Association and Student Alumni Association.

UCLA alumnus and lead guitarist of Linkin Park, Brad Delson, accepted the George and Ira Gershwin Award for lifetime musical achievement on behalf of the band. During his speech, Delson reminisced on his years at UCLA, recalling the time the band was rejected from performing at Spring Sing in 1987.(cq)
