Christina Gurdzhyan, a fourth-year anthropology student, sported a striped short-sleeved crochet top from Gap, with light wash fringe-hem jeans and dark-gray Nike shoes. She thought the knit material made it the perfect piece to wear in the slightly rainy weather. Gurdzhyan said the stripes have a cool ’60s look, and added she likes how the colors match with the rest of her outfit.

Tameri Bushra, a fourth-year art student, decided to pair her red-and-white striped long-sleeve shirt she thrifted from Goodwill with black jeans, white socks and Dr. Marten Oxford boots. She said she was on her way to her print making class and decided to wear as much black as possible because the class can get messy. Bushra said she likes the striped aesthetic of the shirt because it gives her an ’80s vibe.
