University police are searching for two men who allegedly burglarized a UCLA student’s North Village apartment early Friday morning.

The student was returning to his Gayley Avenue apartment at about 2:38 a.m. when he saw a man climbing out of his bedroom window, according to a UCPD alert. He heard another man yell “Hurry up!” and saw both men run west toward Landfair Avenue.

The student reported his MacBook laptop missing.

One man was black, 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 170 pounds, according to the alert. He was wearing a red plaid shirt, dark grey pants and white shoes.

The other man was white, 6 feet 4 inches tall and wearing a white T-shirt.

UCPD recommends students lock all doors and windows.

Anyone with information about this case can call UCPD at 310-825-1491.
