UCLA law school receives $20M donation to create human rights institute

The UCLA School of Law received a $20 million donation to form a new human rights institute, officials announced Monday. Producers of “The Promise,” a film about the Armenian genocide, will donate part of the film’s proceeds to launch the Promise Institute for Human Rights.
