Hull joined the Bruin as a freshman in 2015 and contributed until 2017. He was an assistant Sports editor for the 2016-2017 academic year and spent time on the men's water polo, women's water polo, women's soccer, track and field and rowing beats.

There could be such a thing as unlucky sevens when it comes to the UCLA men’s water polo team. At then-No. 7 Long Beach State, the Bruins were pushed out of their ordinary groove and forced to play their opponent’s game in front of a large away crowd before taking the game in double-overtime.
