This summer, seven Daily Bruin Video journalists will document their experiences at different locations around the world.

Barro Colorado Island is located in the Gatun Lake in the middle of the Panama Canal. The heavily protected island is the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI)’s primary site for research in ecology, animal behavior and evolution, serving as a temporary home for dozens of scientists. It is also home to a diverse range of wildlife and plants. Watch as Peter Berger, Daily Bruin video contributor, showcases the wildlife of this island.
