"A red lip makes me feel confident. It completes my outfit," said Jacinda Dougherty, a third-year psychology student.

"I like things that are hard to place ... either really, really plain things or really, really wild things," said Vita Newstetter, a third-year Design | Media Arts student.

"The more color, the better," Newstetter added.

"I think that my style is very casual – laidback, but I like things with pattern or different, subtle colors that are flattering on me. I'm from Chicago so I like to wear shorts and tank tops since I'm not used to the warm weather. I don't usually think too much about outfits in the morning. It's usually depending on the weather, and since it's always nice here I just like to throw stuff on," said Pria Daniel, a first-year psychology student.

"I usually just choose dresses when I'm kind of too lazy to put together an outfit, so it's just like combining two things together, hoping that it turns out nicely and maybe it did because you noticed! It was a little random but I thought it'd be good for the weather too," said Madelyn Chen, a first-year English student.

"I wouldn't say I'm really into fashion but I'm really into comfortability," said Kauai Taylor, a third-year psychology student.
