"I'm really sensitive to textures so it has to be comfortable. Birkenstocks have been my go-to shoes for 5 years," said Elliot Yancy, a communications studies, environment systems and society minor student.

"I love wearing boy clothes - it's kind of a habit," Yancy mentioned.

"My style is pretty casual, I guess. I'm not a crazy fashion guy but I try to stay fashionable. But these shorts are just reliable and this shirt was clean," added Christian Mooser, a fourth-year cognitive science major.

"I had a photo shoot for my sorority and had been looking for an excuse to wear my headband. I just like bohemian style jewelry," said Rebecca Van Vliet, a first-year political science student.

"This is actually a shirt from Target that I'm wearing as a dress," Van Vliet added.

"I like my Stan Smith shoes because they have this cool style that is just appropriate for relaxed campus look. But still, I didn't want to look too comfy and decided to complete my outfit with a piece of jewelry-- my necklace. It's silver, so kind of eye catching on my black t-shirt, that's why I chose to wear it. I preferred to have my pled backpack because its color matches my t-shirt and shoes," said Ela Talu, a first-year art history major.

"I call this my tiger shirt. I wear it when I want to be bold. People are gonna look at my shirt and be like "what the heck is she wearing" but it's okay because I realize more and more that even thought I'm wearing a ridiculous shirt, it's not going to change who I am as a person," said Cathy Tran, a third-year biology major.

"I like to dress up if I feel like it. If I have time, I try to find a nice outfit. And today I had church so I tried to find something nice," said Will Fong, a material engineering student.

"You can beat me in anything except my fashion. To me fashion is all about expression. Let how you feel burst out in your outfit," said Mariama Bah, a second-year biology major.

"My style is all about my mood. Depending on the mood I wake up in, my outfit will totally reflect that. Today I was feeling Kylie meets girly," Bah declared.

"This dress is a cover up that I wore to the beach yesterday, and today I glammed it up for an induction ceremony," said Shyamali Moujan, a third-year communication studies student.

"My sun belt was passed on for 3 generations, from my grandma, to my mom, then to me. And it's originally from Argentina where my family is from," Moujan added.
