Photo Flashback: 2014-2015 UCLA basketball season

Then-senior guard Norman Powell lit up the Galen Center for 22 points in UCLA's 83-66 rout of USC on Jan. 25. Powell became the first Bruin since 1998 to be undefeated against the Trojans on their home court.

In UCLA's final home game of the 2014-2015 season, then-sophomore guard Bryce Alford exploded for 23 points on 7-10 shooting to lead UCLA past USC 85-74. The win propelled the Bruins to the No. 4 seed in the Pac-12 tournament.

UCLA announced its right to be included in the NCAA Tournament by defeating UAB 92-75 after reaching the Round of 32 on a controversial call. Then-freshman forward Kevon Looney posted a double-double to help the Bruins surpass the Blazers.

Then-sophomore guard Bryce Alford was one of three scoring options for UCLA in its 82-64 loss to Oregon – the other two being then-junior forward/center Tony Parker and then-senior guard Norman Powell. The Bruins were outgunned by the Ducks, compounding on already existing road woes for UCLA.

Then-senior forward Norman Powell finished with 23 points on nine of 16 shooting in UCLA's 69-59 redemptive win over Utah. The victory broke a four-game losing streak for the Bruins.

On senior night in Pauley Pavilion, then-junior center/forward Tony Parker scored 10 of UCLA's first 15 points against crosstown rival USC.

UCLA fell short of its goals to repeat as Pac-12 champions, falling to Arizona 70-64 in the tournament. Then-senior guard Norman Powell had 21 points in the loss.

The Bruins stunned the collegiate basketball community with their improbable run to the Sweet Sixteen last March. While UCLA ultimately fell 74-62 to Gonzaga, the Bruins far exceeded the expectations of many.

Tony Parker was his usual humorous self following a 72-67 UCLA win over Washington State. The then-junior center/forward recorded 15 points in the Bruins' successful outing.

Then-senior guard Kory Alford mobs his younger brother Bryce after the then-sophomore guard shot the game-winning 3 in UCLA's second-round win over SMU in the NCAA Tournament. The shot was ruled good by the referees following a goal-tending call that decided the games.
