Long Story Short: Nov. 9th, 2015

Yuri Enokida and Marlene Estrada host Long Story Short. Third-year applied mathematics student Nellie Ponarul describes her experience in SLAM! at UCLA teaching music to kids in underserved areas, and is later joined by her fellow club members to perform as the SLAM! Band. Graduate student Richard Hedley from the Bruin Naturalist Club tells us about surveying local L.A. wildlife in the club’s BioBlitz. Lastly, we listen to Estrada interview three Bruins about Veterans Day and what it means to them.
